花水木

日本から米国に桜が贈られたことは有名ですが、その返礼が花水木であったことを知る人は少ないことでしょう。足羽高校はたくさんの姉妹校を持っています が、米国の姉妹校である、カリフォルニア州フラトン市（福井市の姉妹都市）のトロイ高校やヴァージニア州リッチモンド市のガバナーズスクールとの交流で は、花水木の植樹を交流行事の一つのイベントとしています。その際の記念植樹にあわせて作ったのがこの曲です。
